The Permanent Division of Robert Half is currently recruiting a Management Accountant on behalf of a Manufacturing business with offices in Dunstable.
The Role
As Management Accountant you will support the Head of Finance by ensuring accurate and timely reporting on site performance and helping with the preparation of budgets and forecasts and controlling expenditure. Day to day duties will consist of:
1. Perform month end activities including accruals, prepayments and reporting
2. Produce full weekly P&L (includes revenue, labour, production variances, waste and overhead reporting and analysis)
3. Track departmental spend vs budget/
4. Complete weekly labour analysis report
5. Assist with budgeting and monthly forecasting
6. Conduct yearly standard costing process
7. Support costing process for new products
8. Support with AP and AR queries, working closely with centralised business functions and department heads
9. Manage local master data for materials, assets, vendors and customers
10. Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations
11. Monitor and correct errors in data imported into SAP
12. Prepare financial reports and prepare regulatory reports as required.
13. Report and explain financial results using standard systems and data
Your Profile
You can be a Qualified, Studying or QBE Accountant. What you MUST have will be Manufacturing experience or a strong understanding of Contract/Cost Sensitive Services and with the ability to work closely with non-finance teams to provide insight, analysis and support. Role of Management Accountant in Dunstable is working in the office with some flexibility for home working and offering a salary of £40-50K + Excellent Benefits.
