The role
Product Analyst
As a Product Analyst within Operations Decision Support (ODS), youll play a key role in driving product success by leveraging data, user insight and market research to support informed decision-making and measurable outcomes.
Working closely with Product Managers and Engineering teams, youll help ensure digital tools and systems deliver real value to our operational teams, supporting safe, efficient and customer-focused airline operations.
What youll do
Own product analytics and insight across a portfolio of digital products
Translate complex data into clear insights to support prioritisation and decision-making
Partner with Product Managers to define success metrics and measure product impact
Work closely with Engineering to ensure data, tools and systems support product goals
Analyse user behaviour, performance metrics and feedback to identify opportunities for improvement
Support experimentation, hypothesis testing and validation of product changes
Maintain clear documentation of insights, assumptions and recommendations
Contribute to roadmap planning by providing evidence-based input
Monitor and report on product performance, adoption and outcomes
What youll bring to British Airways
Strong analytical capability with the ability to interpret complex datasets and user insights
Experience working within digital product teams, alongside Product and Engineering
Confidence communicating insights and recommendations to a range of stakeholders
Understanding of Agile product delivery and data-driven decision-making
A curious mindset with a passion for improving user experience and outcomes
Ability to balance detail with the bigger picture, focusing on value delivery
Proactive, collaborative and outcome-focused approach
Your experience
Experience working as a Product Analyst, Data Analyst or similar role
Hands-on experience analysing product usage, performance and customer behaviour
Familiarity with digital analytics tools and data visualisation
Experience supporting product discovery, delivery and optimisation
Degree-level qualification or equivalent experience in a relevant discipline (e.g. Data, Analytics, Technology, Business)
