We are hiring for an Assistant Store Manager to join one of our exciting NEW stores opening later this year at Robin Retail Park, Wigan.
Please note: You will be leading the team at our brand-new store opening on the retail park, playing a key role in its success from day one. You will join the business as soon as possible to undergo training, likely in another nearby store, and will be involved in the selection process for this new store's team.
There’s an established team in place, and you will work directly with them to create the best customer shopping experience possible. Footasylum is a business that values our front-end retail staff.
An Assistant Manager will assist the Store Manager with the store’s daily responsibilities, including overseeing employees, demonstrating effective leadership, and providing excellent customer service. A primary responsibility is to act in the Manager’s role in their absence, developing into a Store Manager role over time.

About You
We’re looking for someone passionate about fashion retail, aligned with our values. The ideal Assistant Store Manager will have:
* Proven experience in fashion retail, preferably in a managerial role in a fast-paced environment
* A strong record of leading, motivating, and developing high-performing teams
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* The ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities
* Exceptional organizational skills and a customer-first mindset
* A good understanding of the fashion industry and current market trends
Ideal candidates include those currently working as Deputy Store Managers, Retail Operations Supervisors, Store Management Associates, Assistant Retail Managers, or Sales Floor Managers.
