We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Bookings Officer to support our Events and Engagement strategy. In this key role, you'll manage our bookings system, drive sales through excellent customer engagement, and ensure a seamless experience for everyone who interacts with The Sports Trust.
What you'll do
* Oversee day-to-day facility, programme, and event bookings.
* Provide exceptional customer service as the first point of contact for enquiries.
* Proactively promote our facilities and programmes to maximise sales.
* Work closely with internal teams to deliver smooth, successful events.
* Maintain accurate records, produce reports, and support invoicing and payments.
What we're looking for
* Experience in a customer-facing role (bookings, events, hospitality, or administration).
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong IT and systems knowledge (CRM/booking systems desirable).
* Ability to multitask, prioritise, and work under pressure.
* A proactive, sales-driven mindset with great attention to detail.
Desirable:
* Experience in sports, leisure, or charitable organisations.
* Knowledge of health & safety and safeguarding practices.
* A passion for sport and community engagement.
