What you'll be doing:
* Be the go-to expert for managers, offering confident, clear advice on all thing's employee relations.
* Lead on complex and sensitive cases — from disciplinaries and grievances to TUPE, redundancies, and tribunals.
* Craft outcome letters that are not only accurate but reflect our values and tone of voice.
* Build trusted relationships across the business, championing best practice and proactive ER strategies.
* Represent HR at branch and regional meetings, sharing insights and updates that matter.
* Travel to branches to provide hands-on support where it's needed most.
* Spot trends in ER and employment law and help us stay one step ahead.
* Coach and empower managers to handle issues with confidence and care.
* Stay sharp on employment law and policy changes — and help us stay compliant.
* Get involved in exciting HR projects that align with our wider business goals.
* Support employment tribunal claims and lead sensitive "without prejudice" conversations.
* And of course, roll up your sleeves for any other tasks that help us deliver a brilliant HR service.
What you'll bring
:Essential
* :3+ years of hands-on HR Employee Relations experience, in a large, fast-paced organisation
* .Strong working knowledge of UK employment law and ER best practices
* .Experience managing a wide range of ER cases, including tribunals and diversity matters
* .Excellent communication skills — both written and verbal — with the ability to influence and advise at all levels
* .Discretion, professionalism, and a calm approach under pressure
* .Great organisational skills and the ability to juggle competing priorities
* .A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
* .Confident with IT systems and HR tools
.Desirable
* :CIPD qualification or a degree in a relevant field
* .Experience working in a commercially driven, customer-focused environment
