The Job You’ll Do:
* Monthly reporting to the parent company, meeting all deadlines.
* Ensure new accounting, tax, and finance procedures comply with local requirements and are effectively communicated.
* Implement new external accounting and tax standards, ensuring compliance and informing relevant teams.
* Manage the general ledger team and serve as the key user for ERP general ledger.
* Oversee annual audits and the preparation of statutory accounts.
* Complete accurate balance sheet reconciliations, including Fixed Assets, Expenses, and Payroll.
* Handle external reporting such as VAT, CIS, Intrastat, and Government Statistics.
* Support team members and provide cover for the Head of Shared Services as needed.
About You:
* Previous financial management experience is essential.
* Decisive with the ability to work independently and manage priorities.
* Experience managing a small team and implementing process improvements.
* Knowledge or experience with ERP systems.
* Understanding of current accounting standards and practices.
* Professional accounting qualification.
* Advanced Excel skills.
* Ability to meet strict deadlines.
* Experience training finance team members.
