Beavertown began life 11 years ago in a tiny BBQ joint in Haggerston, North London. In 2020 we opened BEAVERWORLD, our Out of this World brewery & mothership in Enfield. Alongside our Lockwood Brewery in Tottenham Hale and our micro-brewery at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium we have the capacity to brew a staggering 90 million pints a year.

The Role
Fancy joining an innovative company where you’ll play a crucial part in growing our Off Trade business? In this role, you’ll create demand for Beavertown beers in the grocery sector across key grocery customers at national level. This includes brand awareness and education as well as contributing towards the overall channel strategy.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Full account management responsibility for key grocery customers
* Formulate and implement specific customer range and distribution strategies and increasing Beavertown brand awareness across the customer base
* Manage a portfolio of national grocery accounts through engagement with trading teams, supply chain contacts, marketing teams and support functions
* Lead internal forecasting and budgeting for your customer group as well as supporting channel KPI’s (NPD, distribution growth, brand power and awareness etc.)
* Collaborate with the Off Trade team on the overall Off Trade strategic direction, and also partner with the team to develop plans and actions which will deliver both short and long term objectives
* Establish ongoing ways of working and principles with the various internal and external operational teams to ensure we provide an efficient and first class customer experience
* Present sales results on a weekly and monthly basis to the wider commercial team and Off Trade team
* Represent Beavertown Brewery at promotions, tastings and special events
* Full account management responsibilities for some of our valued Off Trade customers – this includes managing your own P&L, customer negotiations and creating growth orientated JBP’s
* Build and execute a coherent trading template encompassing pricing, promotions, space and media planning terms, including activation and space planning, etc.
* Educate and train your customers on Beavertown’s brands and story
* Successfully achieve monthly and annual volume and revenue targets and any additional objectives
* Collaborate with the team to ensure Beavertown has the right level of resources allocated for the scale of the budgeted growth
What You’ll Bring To Us
* Strong track record supporting national accounts with a specific focus on Grocery customers
* Grocery experience essential, with key customers such as with Ocado and M&S; with e-com experience advantageous
* Strong sales and negotiation background developed in an Account Management role within FMCG
* Proven track record in building strong customer relationships with Grocery customers
* Experience taking the initiative to gather and use customer feedback to identify customer and market opportunities
* Proven analytical skills and understanding of syndicated data
* First class written and verbal communication skills, easily able to communicate effectively at all levels
* Good experience successfully running your own P&L in the Grocery channel, along with promotional planning and execution
* Demonstrated diligence and ability to follow through on all commitments
* First class communication skills and communication style – written, verbal and presenting
* Demonstrated experience achieving performance goals using own experience whilst aligning to our brand vision, goals and objectives
