A leading name in the luxury hospitality industry is looking for a Part-Time Company Secretary support their growing team. The role reports directly into the Head of Compliance and is intended to take lead on a variety of Corporate Governance topics (in coordination with senior stakeholders across the business).
The company is an independent subsidiary of a large overseas listed corporate so although listed experience is not required there will be group level coordination in this regard.
The nature of the business if very international and workflow will cover a number of areas including: supporting various committees, global entity management, corporate restructuring project(s), global corporate compliance (covering 100+ international entities) as well as supporting on a number of compliance topics.
The head office is based in Central London and we envisage some travel to the office (especially at the start of the contract) will be beneficial.
What’s on offer?
This role is ideally suited to experience Company Secretarial professional who is between projects or available to take on a part-time short term assignment. The role will give some interesting exposure to complex jurisdictions as well as helping to shape and revamp corporate governance structures within the business. You will work closely with a seasoned legal team, helping to manage their current workload and ensuring the smooth delivery of governance responsibilities.
* Part-time role that is open to candidates considering 2, 3 or 4 days per week (alternative set up can be discussed but please note the budget below)
* Around £100,000 FTE has been budgeted for the role plus a bonus and benefits. This will therefore likely suit Assistant or Deputy Company secretaries looking for an exciting new position.

About you
As a qualified Company Secretary in the UK you will likely have upwards of 7/8 years of experience; ideally this will include experience of managing international entities but at minimum will require previous exposure to the board and managing various committees.
