Qualifications
* Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People or equivalent.
* Level 4 Diploma in Management or working towards it.
* Professional care qualifications (e.g., DipSW, CMS, CQSW, Registered Managers Award).
* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Children & Young People.
Skills & Experience
* Extensive experience in residential care for young people as aChildren's Home Registered Manager
* Proven leadership at a senior level, with hands-on staff and budget management.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Ability to motivate and guide teams in a collaborative, structured environment.
* Recent experience working closely with OFSTED through registration and inspection.
Key Responsibilities
* As theChildren's Home Registered Manager, Lead and manage all staff, ensuring the highest standards of care.
* Oversee staff scheduling and budgeting to meet childrens needs.
* Foster a nurturing environment where children feel safe, supported, and heard.
* Implement effective behaviour management strategies to support childrens development.
* Coordinate care plans, ensuring timely reviews and adherence to standards.
* Cultivate an open, diverse culture, promoting the health, well-being, and life chances of each child.
* Ensure compliance with safeguarding regulations and maintain confidentiality.
