Job Introduction
The role of Payroll Leader, in the Central Group Finance Team, leads the Group Shared Service function for payroll, including promoting a centre of excellence and a strong control framework.
Main Responsibility
You will be managing a small team of 3, with responsibility for over 26 payrolls across multiple jurisdictions. Working closely with both the central HR team and the wider business, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with documented processes and controls, and external statutory requirements. Finally, you will help deliver required monthly internal reporting as well as identifying and implementing opportunities for continuous improvement.
Our Ideal Candidate
A strong self-starter, you will be a proven team leader with experience of managing a global payroll function. CIPP qualification is essential. Experience of using an advanced payroll system is essential, and experience of managing a system upgrade would be a benefit. You will have excellent communication skills with the ability to quickly build rapport with a diverse group of stakeholders across the globe. Experience of working within a manufacturing business would be a benefit but is not essential. Trust and professionalism are vital in this role.
