Account Development Associate – Iris Software

Location: Leeds

About the Role

The Account Development Associate is a critical front-line role that helps fuel the growth of Iris Software’s client portfolio. You’ll engage potential customers, understand their challenges, and create qualified opportunities for the sales team.

This is an excellent opportunity to build a strong foundation in B2B tech sales, with coaching and pathways for progression.

Key Responsibilities

* Identify, research, and qualify prospective client accounts
* Conduct outreach via email, phone, and LinkedIn to engage decision-makers
* Book discovery calls and set high-quality meetings for Account Executives
* ️ Maintain accurate data and activity tracking in the CRM
* Support sales campaigns, events, and targeted outreach initiatives
* Gain a strong understanding of Iris Software’s solutions and the industries we serve
* Provide insights on lead quality, messaging, and prospect trends

What We’re Looking For

* 6–12 months of experience in sales, business development, or lead generation
* (B2B or tech industry experience is a plus, but not required!)
* Excellent communication skills — written and verbal
* High motivation, curiosity, and a willingness to learn
* Target-driven mindset with strong organizational skills
* ️ Experience using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) is helpful
* A team player with a positive, proactive attitude
