The Job
Our client is seeking an Agrochemical Manager to take full ownership of their crop protection category within a traditional agricultural merchanting business. The role covers product range management, supplier relationships, regulatory compliance, stock control, pricing strategy, and margin performance. You will work closely with the agronomy and sales teams to ensure the right products are available at the right time, while maintaining compliance and commercial discipline. This is a senior, hands‑on role with direct influence over commercial outcomes.

Our client is a long‑established agricultural merchant supplying arable and mixed farms across its trading region. Known for technical credibility and long‑term customer relationships, the business operates a practical, commercially driven model rather than a corporate structure.
The Candidate
* Strong background in agrochemicals within a merchant or distributor environment
* In‑depth understanding of UK regulatory and stewardship requirements
* Commercially minded with strong margin and stock‑risk awareness
* Confident managing suppliers, product ranges, and internal stakeholders
