The school specialise in providing specialist education and care for children aged 7-19 with a range of special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). These include autistic spectrum condition (ASC), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and social emotional and mental health needs (SEMH). Roles and Responsibilities Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons that engage and challenge children and young people. Foster a positive learning environment that supports children and young people's educational and personal growth. Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support. Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community to ensure student success. Participate in school activities, extracurricular programs, and professional development opportunities. Candidate Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) A qualification in SEND education is desirable. Experience of working with children with SEND and ASC Experience in teaching English Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate children and young people.
