As a Financial Accountant at Albert Bartlett, you will handle the preparation of monthly financial statements, assist with budgeting and forecasting, and support the month-end and year-end close processes. What You'll Do: Prepare and review accurate monthly financial statements in line with accounting standards. Assist with management accounts, budgeting, and forecasting activities. Support the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely completion. Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate any discrepancies. Work closely with various departments to gather financial data and provide insights. Ensure compliance with internal controls and company accounting policies. Support audit activities and liaise with external auditors as necessary. Requirements Min. Part Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA). Proven experience in a Financial Accountant role. Strong knowledge of UK accounting standards and financial reporting. Excellent organisational and analytical skills with strong attention to detail. Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Effective communicator with the ability to work collaboratively across teams. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines efficiently.
