What's the role?
The Asset Manager will manage all operation-related technical and commercial-administrative activities efficiently and effectively according to the established standards/processes for operational assets across the UK.
In particular, the main activities will include:
* Support the integration of new assets (currently onshore wind) into the operational phase.
* Manage all contracts connected to the operational assets and ensure compliance with deliverables, technical and commercial-administrative aspects.
* Develop and manage relationships with key stakeholders and (local) authorities.
* Ensure and continuously track performance of assets in line with KPIs using different software/data portals and by liaising with the ERG Performance team.
* Coordinate and monitor all O&M activities by liaising with external contractors.
* Analyse technical issues/faults, efficiently coordinate problem-solving and evaluate possible opportunities for cost reduction and/or performance improvements.
* Continuously monitor operating costs to ensure budget compliance; process and verify invoices relating to the asset contracts.
* Manage the operational assets in line with ERG Global EHS&Q guidelines as well as in accordance with local HSE legislation.
* Prepare period reports and presentation material.
What You’ll Bring:
* Studies in Engineering, Renewable Energies and/or Project Management.
* 2-3 years of working experience within the wind onshore industry.
* Hands-on experience in contract/compliance management, operations management and coordination of contractors working on the assets.
* Understanding of HSE UK legislation relevant for the renewable energy sector.
* Fluent English (written and spoken).
* Good knowledge of: Microsoft office and related applications package, SCADA software, CMS, Power BI, SAP, third party monitoring/data performance platforms.
* Open and clear communication skills.
* Team player with flexible mind and approach to think outside the box, adaptable and open-minded to accept and handle changes in priorities effectively.
* Problem solving and adaptability.
* Willingness to embrace different approaches and support international teams.
Additional Information:
Employment location Edinburgh, with availability to site visits (UK portfolio wide) as well as travel to the ERG HQ.
