£18.00 - £20.00 per hour

Our client who is an established manufacturing company in Rochdale is looking to expand their team and is on the search for CNC Programmer with Hypermill/Solidworks experience to manufacture components.
The Job
Develop and edit CNC programmes for milling machines and other CNC equipment using CAD/CAM Software
Interpret technical drawings and specifications using CAD software such as SolidWorks and CAD tools
CNC machines with appropriate tooling, fixtures, and materials
Adjust programmes based on feedback from inspection or production staff to improve efficiency and accuracy
Maintain detailed records of programme versions, modifications, and machine settings
Collaborate with the fabrication, assembly, welding, and materials handling teams to ensure seamless production flow
Perform routine maintenance checks on CNC equipment and assist with minor repairs when necessary
About you
Proven experience in CNC programming within a manufacturing environment
Strong knowledge of fabrication processes, milling operations, and tooling selection
Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks and other Hypermill programmes
Mechanical knowledge including familiarity with math skills for calculations related to machining tolerances
Experience with materials handling, assembly, welding, and the use of hand tools in a workshop setting
Good understanding of mechanical principles relevant to CNC machining operations
Ability to interpret technical drawings accurately and translate them into effective programmes
