Are you looking to expand your leadership skills and become a key postholder in our school?
We are looking to appoint an inspirational and enthusiastic teacher and Head of Drama who has a passion for their subject and a commitment to ensuring that staff and students share that passion. We want you to lead the team to inspire high achievement and excitement for your subject.
This is a fixed-term post until August 2026 to cover maternity leave, required as soon as possible.
The Elmgreen School became part of the Dunraven Educational Trust in September 2021, and together, we are focused on developing an exciting, dynamic and progressive community focused on improving the outcomes for children and their families.
Key Responsibilities
The purpose of this role is to provide professional leadership and management for Drama, ensuring high-quality teaching and learning, achievement and engagement of students in line with our vision and ethos. You will also develop opportunities for students to perform individually and in groups including organisation of Drama productions, showcases etc. and participation of other Drama-related opportunities.
Dunraven Educational Trust Overview
Dunraven Educational Trust (DET) was established in 2016. It now incorporates Dunraven's All-Through School, Goldfinch Primary, The Elmgreen School, Rosendale Primary School and Van Gogh Primary.
