An NVQ level 2 (or above) certificate in Health and Social Care is essential for this role along with 6 months minimum experience within a Dementia setting. 22-44 hours per week- Days Rates Of Pay NVQ level 2 in Health and Social care: £13.27 per hour NVQ level 3 in Health and Social care: £14.10 per hour Introduction to the role Are you an individual that has previous care experience within a dementia setting? In specially designed communities, you will engage with individuals who are on their Dementia journey, ensuring you understand their needs, encourage, assist, and support people to participate in appropriate leisure activities and activities of daily living, normalising life as much as possible with joy and happiness. This role does involve aspects of personal care and you may support individuals who show signs of distress. With support from the team, you will receive tailored dementia training to enhance your skills and the lives of those you will support.
