Position: Teacher of Geography
Location: Skelmersdale, Lancashire

Contract: Long-term sickness cover. Expected end date: May 2025

A Catholic Secondary school in Skelmersdale, Lancashire are seeking to appoint a passionate and knowledgeable teacher of Geography from November. An ability to teach engaging and challenging lessons to enable students of all abilities to develop a passion for the subject and to reach their full potential is essential.
This post would either suit a new entrant to the profession, seeking to gain experience in an Ofsted graded ‘outstanding’ school, or a more experienced teacher. The school are happy to welcome applications from a teacher returning to work from a career break and will consider flexible working hours where possible (the successful candidate must be available for a minimum of three days per week).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
