The Opportunity
This is a rare opportunity to lead, shape and grow an established Professional Services function within a highly regarded commercial property consultancy.
We are seeking an experienced Chartered Surveyor, who is ready to step into a visible leadership role and take ownership of a department. The firm has a strong multidisciplinary platform across Buckinghamshire and the surrounding Home Counties. This generates a consistent stream of lease renewals, rent reviews and landlord and tenant advisory work. The successful candidate will inherit this foundation, provide leadership and structure, and seek new business.
The Role
The Head of Professional Services will:
* Lead and oversee all lease renewal and rent review activity within the firm
* Manage and develop work generated from our existing client base and internal referrals
* Work closely with the Property Management department on lease events across managed portfolios
* Collaborate with Agency on matters where transactional and professional advice intersect
* Develop new instructions through networking, relationship-building and leveraging their own career-long contacts
* Provide high-level, commercially focused advice to both landlords and tenants
* Contribute to strategic planning, forecasting and departmental growth
There is also the opportunity to undertake the following services:
* Tenant representation for corporate occupiers
* Strategic relocation advice
* Business-critical property event management
* Portfolio advisory and consultancy-led instructions
Working closely with the senior leadership team, the role provides exposure to higher-level advisory work and the opportunity to influence direction rather than simply respond to instructions.
