Support for Daniel, a young man with interests and needs, and Thomas, a person with cerebral palsy requiring assistance.
Overview of Role:
Your role involves supporting Daniel with his afternoon and weekend routines, including personal care, enabling his interests, and exploring new activities. Support is primarily 1:1 at his family home, with additional support for outings and holidays. Working hours are:
1. Week 1: Tuesday and Friday, 3:45 pm to 10:00 pm; Sunday, 8:00 am to 5:30 pm.
2. Week 2: Tuesday and Thursday, until 10:00 pm.
There is an opportunity for additional hours, including Saturday work and college holiday periods. Full training and support from the Team Leader and family are provided. The hourly rate is up to DOE. Candidates without prior experience are encouraged to apply.
