A dynamic and growing organisation is seeking a proactive and detail‑oriented Management Accountant to join their finance team. Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, this role plays a key part in delivering accurate financial information, strengthening internal reporting frameworks and supporting wider business projects. Your new role
You will be responsible for delivering high‑quality financial reporting and ensuring the integrity of the organisation’s financial processes. Key duties include:
Preparing monthly management accounts for review
Producing accurate monthly journals, including accruals and prepayments
Conducting P&L reviews, variance analysis and commentary in line with group finance policies
Reviewing balance sheets and reconciling key accounts
Completing VAT returns and managing monthly intercompany balances
Preparing audit information and responding to external audit queries
Overseeing daily bank reconciliations
Preparing weekly cash flow forecasts for review and submission to Group Finance
Maintaining and managing the fixed asset register
Supporting quarterly forecasting, budgeting and ECL calculations
Working closely with administrative and support teams to meet monthly deadlines
Partnering with the Financial Controller to enhance controls, systems and reporting frameworks
Providing oversight and guidance to the Accounts Assistant
What youll need to succeed
ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualification (or equivalent)
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and compliance
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
Proficiency in Excel and accounting software
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
Knowledge of IFRS is desirable
