What You’ll Be Doing
As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you’ll be involved in designing and developing components for both consumer and industrial products. Your responsibilities will include:
* Creating mechanical concepts and detailed 3D models using SolidWorks
* Designing for a variety of manufacturing processes: machining, injection moulding, extrusions, sheet metal, 3D printing, and more
* Hands-on prototyping, testing, and refining designs using rapid prototyping technologies
* Collaborating with suppliers and internal teams to ensure manufacturability and cost-efficiency
* Supporting the transition of legacy drawings into CAD/PDM format and maintaining the design library
* Mentoring junior engineers and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement
* Participating in design reviews and supporting products throughout their lifecycle
