Hours: 30 hours per week, Term Time only + 3 Weeks
Reporting to: Chief Finance and Operating Officer
Ironstone Academy Trust wishes to appoint a Finance Partner to join our central team.
Ironstone Academy Trust is a successful multi-academy trust based in the North East of England, established in 2014. The Trust has six schools and nearly 1500 pupils. The individual schools are all unique but share a commitment that children are at the heart of decision-making and that we are stronger together.
The Trust operates with a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) who supports the Trustees in holding individual schools to account. Carl Faulkner is the CEO of the Trust. Each school has its own leadership team, working with a Local Academy Committee.
The Central Team currently includes a Chief Executive Officer, Deputy Executive Officer, Chief Finance and Operating Officer, a Trust Bursar, Business Support Officer, and Safeguarding Trust Lead.
We are interested in hearing from people who:
* Have a strong professional background in finance.
* Are self-motivated, focused, and organized.
* Have a commitment to supporting education leaders to achieve the best outcomes for children and young people.
Experience of regulations relevant to the academy sector, the ability to multi-task, and work flexibly within a team are essential. The ability to manage workload effectively and deliver against objectives is also required. Experience within a Trust’s finance team is desirable.
The role is based at the Trust head office within Normanby Primary School grounds. Occasional visits to other trust schools are expected.
