27.5 hours per week – Monday to Friday
Term time only (39 weeks per year)
Salary: Grade 7 – Point 15 to Point 19
£30,024 to £32,061 per annum pro rata
(£15.56 to £16.61 per hour)

Ysgol Maesydderwen is situated in beautiful south Powys, the catchment area of which includes part of the Brecon Beacons National Park and the Waterfall Country. Ideally situated in the small town of Ystradgynlais, the school is within easy reach of Cardiff, Swansea and South-West Wales.
The Governors are looking to appoint a Personal Assistant to the ALNCo to join our highly committed ALN team. Starting in September, we are looking to appoint a well-organised and efficient person who is able to combine the coordination of ALN provision, administrative leadership, safeguarding responsibilities, and high-level teaching and learning support. The post holder will ensure that pupils with ALN receive high-quality, person-centred support through the planning, delivery, and review of Individual Development Plans (IDPs), enabling them to overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential.
