Job Title: Trainee Logistics Administrator
Our client is actively seeking to recruit a Trainee Logistics Administrator for their busy Head Office in Basildon.
As a Trainee Logistics Administrator in the Logistics team, your responsibilities will include:
1. Processing proof of deliveries, including liaising with customers via telephone and email.
2. Ensuring all company files are stored correctly in accordance with company processes.
3. Sorting, scanning, and attaching shipment details to the Freight Management System (FMS).
4. Sourcing Proof of Deliveries (PODs) from supplier websites and requesting PODs as needed.
5. Meeting the individual needs of clients regarding PODs.
6. Picking and packing goods.
7. Performing quality checks (QC).
8. Conducting stock counts.
9. Entering customer orders into the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
10. Processing customer returns.
11. Arranging freight couriers for collections and deliveries.
12. Maintaining filing systems.
Ideal candidates will have recent experience working in an office environment in an administrative role, with strong attention to detail and proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
