AI/ML Engineer – Medical Device
12‑month FTC with up to £97k base salary, performance bonus and benefits. Located in Staines‑upon‑Thames, hybrid model (2–3 days in office).
We are looking for an AI/ML Engineer to build AI‑driven predictive healthcare solutions using real‑world data from wearables, IoT devices and medical records to support early disease detection and personalised monitoring. Responsibilities include developing AI‑powered accessibility features that enhance digital and physical access for users with visual and cognitive impairments.
Skills Required
* PhD with 2+ years’ experience or Master’s degree with 5+ years’ experience in biomedical engineering.
* Strong understanding of cardiovascular disease, clinical workflows and risk factors.
* Experience processing multimodal health data (EHR, wearables, HL7/FHIR) and time‑series signals (ECG, PPG).
* Proficiency in Python‑based feature engineering, statistical analysis and data visualisation.
* Experience deploying predictive models in clinical settings or EHR systems.
