Overview
Our Community Mental Health Recovery Services: Runnymede and Spelthorne are secondary Mental Health Teams who provide assessments for evidence based, time limited treatment and psychological interventions for adults with severe and enduring mental health issues. The focus of our whole service is promoting recovery and independence and developing self-management strategies to encourage people to achieve their potential in the community. We are a multidisciplinary team who provide advice and support for GPs and work with individuals and their carers and can refer or signpost to a number of statutory, independent and voluntary sector agencies. We seek to work closely with individuals and their families as well as other organisations where consent has been given.
Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is the leading provider of mental health, learning disability, neurodevelopmental and drug and alcohol services in Surrey and North East Hampshire. We support people of all ages and are passionate about providing high quality care that is delivered at the right time as close to home as possible to help people recover and stay well. Surrey is a county located close to London and the South Coast, with airports nearby for international travel.
