Senior Physiotherapist
Position: Senior Physiotherapist
Location: The Saxon Clinic, Milton Keynes
Hours & Type: 37.5 hours per week, Permanent. Full‑time; part‑time hours may be considered.
Salary: Up to £41,000.00 per year (depending on level of experience, training and qualification).
Responsibilities
* Independently assess and treat patients with more complex needs across inpatient or outpatient settings.
* Develop individualised treatment plans using a variety of physiotherapy techniques to optimise recovery, function, and independence.
* Monitor patient progress and adapt interventions accordingly, ensuring high standards of clinical care.
* Manage a designated caseload efficiently, prioritising based on clinical urgency and discharge planning needs.
* Liaise with the multidisciplinary team to support safe, effective, and timely patient care.
* Contribute to continuity of care by supporting patient transitions between services.
* Act as a point of contact for junior physiotherapists, therapy assistants, and students, offering guidance and informal supervision.
Qualifications & Experience
* HCPC‑registered Physiotherapist.
* Solid post‑registration experience across a range of clinical areas.
* Proven experience in MSK desirable.
* Strong clinical reasoning and decision‑making skills.
* Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal abilities.
* Commitment to team working and service improvement.
* Evidence of CPD or postgraduate learning in a relevant clinical area.
* Experience supporting or mentoring junior staff or students.
* Familiarity with electronic documentation and outcome measurement tools.
* Involvement in audit or clinical service initiatives.
