Air Conditioning Engineer Location: North London to South Coast
Salary: Up to £45,000 + Door-to-Door Pay + Overtime
CBW Staffing Solutions are currently recruiting for an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to join an established organisation covering a commercial portfolio from North London to the South Coast. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out service, maintenance, and reactive works across a diverse commercial portfolio, including healthcare, hospitality, office, and mixed-use buildings.
This is a hands-on role, working on air conditioning and associated HVAC systems, ensuring all equipment operates efficiently, safely, and in compliance with industry regulations.
Working Hours:
* 40-hour week (08:00 – 17:00)
* 1-in-7 call-out rota
Key Responsibilities
* Service, maintenance, and reactive repair of commercial air conditioning systems
* Fault finding and diagnostics on split, multi-split, VRV/VRF systems
* Maintenance of AHUs, FCUs, and ventilation systems
* Completion of planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
* Participation in call-out rota (1-in-7)
* Accurate completion of service documentation
* Ensuring compliance with F-Gas regulations and Health & Safety standards
* Maintaining professional client relationships on site
Candidate Requirements
* F-Gas Category 1 certification
* NVQ Level 2 / City & Guilds in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration (or equivalent)
* Demonstrable experience in commercial AC service and maintenance
* Strong diagnostic and fault-finding ability
* Full UK driving licence
* Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
