Experience required…
Essential:
6. Significant experience in delivering Civil Engineering projects and qualifications in this discipline
7. Excellent report writing, communication and teamwork skills.
8. Experience in the delivery of Utility projects.
9. Confidence in and experience of meeting with internal and external clients and of producing proposals.
10. Willingness to travel to meet the needs of specific projects.
11. Analytical and problem solving, attention to detail and creative thinking.
12. Previous experience in either Diversion management or design and build projects.
13. High level of commercial awareness.
14. Demonstrated experience in developing business and forming strong client relationships including an ability to deal directly with clients and stakeholder engagement.
15. Strong leadership skills and the ability to develop and maintain a highly motivated project delivery team.
Desirable:
16. Previous experience working for a Water/ Gas/ Electricity company or tier one contractor.
17. HND, HNC or higher qualification in relevant discipline.
18. Project Management qualification or be working towards a qualification in this area.
19. Good working knowledge of different contract types (including NEC), and different procurement options is desirable.
20. Experienced in the Utility Diversions C2 – C9 process.
