Job Summary:
The Clinic Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the clinics to ensure efficient, high-quality patient care. This role involves managing staff, handling budgets, ensuring compliance with CQC, and developing plans to enhance the clinic's services and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Management:
Oversee day-to-day operations of the clinic, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery.
Develop and implement policies and procedures to optimize clinic operations.
Monitor and manage clinic schedules, ensuring appropriate staffing levels.
Coordinate with medical, administrative, and support staff to ensure seamless patient care.
Staff Management:
Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate clinic staff.
Foster a positive and productive work environment.
Address employee conflicts and provide solutions to improve team dynamics.
Conduct regular staff meetings to keep the team informed and engaged.
Financial Management:
Monitor financial performance and implement strategies to achieve financial goals.
Oversee billing, collections, and other financial transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Compliance and Quality Assurance:
Ensure the clinic complies with all relevant healthcare regulations and CQC standards.
Implement and monitor quality assurance programs.
Handle patient complaints and concerns promptly and professionally.
Maintain accurate and confidential patient records.
Strategic Planning and Development:
Identify opportunities for improvement in clinic services.
Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance patient care and clinic performance.
Build and maintain relationships with external partners, including suppliers and healthcare providers.
Customer Service:
Ensure a high standard of patient care and satisfaction.
Address patient inquiries and resolve issues efficiently.
Monitor patient feedback and implement improvements based on feedback.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Nursing, or a related field is preferred
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a healthcare management role.
Strong understanding of CQC healthcare regulations and compliance standards.
Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Working Conditions:
Work is typically performed in a clinic setting.
May require occasional evening or weekend work.
