Our central government client is seeking a highly experienced Lead AI Solution Architect to design and implement scalable AI solutions and develop Target Operating Models (TOMs) that align with our client's strategic goals. You will work closely with cross-functional to ensure AI initiatives are robust, ethical, and deliver measurable value. Key Responsibilities/ Experience Required Lead the design of enterprise-level AI architectures and frameworks. Develop and implement Target Operating Models for AI adoption and integration. Ensure solutions are secure, compliant, and aligned with government standards. Collaborate with senior stakeholders to align AI strategy with business objectives. Experience with scaling AI solutions in complex, regulated environments is required. Deep understanding of AI/ML lifecycle, model governance, and ethical AI principles. AI technical experience including AWS Bedrock, Azure AI Foundry, Google Vertex and open-source AI/ML stacks. Contribute to reusable architecture patterns and support internal capability uplift. Background in regulated environments and ability to interpret complex technical requirements into deliverable solutions. Familiarity with risk-based AI assurance, DPIAs, data protection and transparency requirements. Strong communication skills to interface with senior stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams. A strong technical or development background is required along with the ability to discuss the details of a broad range of industry-standard technologies, across both proprietary and open-source technology stacks. The role involves assuring other services and system quality, making sure the technical work fits into the broader strategy for government as well as exploring the benefits of cross-government alignment and providing mentoring within teams and provide support to other architects. This role will enable the department to accelerate adoption of transformative AI tools and ensures priority use cases can move from design to delivery with integrity, aligned to existing digital standards and measurable impact.
