Overview
Sexual Health Dumfries and Galloway (D&G) is an innovative and expanding service within NHS D&G. We are looking to recruit an experienced sexual health nurse to join our team.
Responsibilities
* Manage clients within the department in all aspects of sexual health including contraception and sexually transmitted infections and participate in partner notification.
* Work with senior clinical staff and provide support as required.
Qualifications
* Registered General Nurse or Midwife.
* Certificate in Sexual and Reproductive Health Care.
* Experience working within a sexual health setting.
* Ideally holds a NMP qualification or is willing to undertake the qualification.

* Excellent communication skills.
* Good interpersonal and organisational skills.
* A non‑judgemental attitude.
* A high degree of motivation towards CPD.
* Ability to work as part of a team.
* Flexible working.
Hours
This role may be offered on a job share basis and more than one candidate may be appointed to ensure all hours are covered. Applicants can apply for between 7.5 and 30 hours per week and should specify their preferred number of hours within their application.
