About the role
The post holder has overall responsibility for library resources and facilities at the Cruciform Hub. They oversee the planning and delivery of comprehensive, high-quality information services provided by the Cruciform library team, and are responsible for the Hub premises including the Health and Safety of staff and customers. As the senior member of the team, the post holder also contributes to setting strategic objectives for the Hub and has responsibility for advocacy and liaison with UCLH NHS Foundation Trust.
This is an internal secondment role, available to current UCL staff only. Eligible UCL staff will have until the16 January to be considered for this role.
This is a fixed-term role until 27/11/ in the first instance. The salary for this post is £54, (including London Allowance) per annum.
We will consider applications to work on a part-time, flexible and job share basis wherever possible.
This is an on-campus role. It is not suitable for regular remote working. Occasional remote working may be available as opportunities arise.

About you
We are looking for candidates who in particular have the following experience and skills:
1. Experience of planning and delivering resources and services in a health or university library
2. Experience of line managing staff, and proven ability to lead and motivate a team
3. Experience of the effective promotion of library services, appropriate to a variety of audiences
4. Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks, and meet personal deadlines
