Your day will kick off with a clear digital schedule, featuring pre-booked jobs where members are expecting you. Here’s what you’ll be doing:
* Routine servicing
* Advanced diagnostics using cutting-edge mobile equipment
* In-depth repairs typically done in a workshop
* Providing member advice and recommendations based on your inspections
* Conducting vehicle safety checks aligned with RAC standards
With SMR, you’ll have the time and tools to deliver quality work, supported by a fully equipped RAC van, fuel card, uniform, and a complete tool set.

What You’ll Need
* Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent)
* Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a vehicle technician working on light vehicles
* A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points
