What your days will look like:
You will help our clients focus on the right priorities at the right time in their M&A integration projects. Leading and working witha number ofstakeholders to make a meaningful, hands-on contribution and engaging deeply with our clients to define integration strategies and target operating models to deliver in line with the deal value case. As a Manager in the M&A Integration team, your role responsibilities willlargely cover:
1. Supporting with designingand building client integration programmes, including strategy definition, target operating model, value creation (synergy) assessment, integration planning (Day 1 and "-Day"), and post-acquisition execution.
2. Supportingwith developinga combined operating model and defining the level of integrationrequiredacross business functions.
3. Managingday-to-day client interactions, working with C-suite executives and their teams to deliver high-quality work and relevant recommendations.
4. Supportingthe creation of proposals and client presentations in collaboration with other PwC functional and sector teams.
5. Drivingthe growth of the M&A Integration team by forging strong business relationships with clients.
6. Collaboratingwith the team to build and share knowledge, support the continuous development of best practices, and introduce relevantnew ideas(e.g., digital tools).
7. Supportingpractice development initiatives and act as a role model to coach and develop team members.
This role is for you if:
8. Experience providing professional M&A integration advisory services to clients; oroperational management or business transformation/ change managementexperience in a corporate environment as a line manager or internal consulting role.
9. Practical experience developing M&A integration strategy and plans,synergyassessment and development, designing and implementing target operating models, and executing business transformation projects or performance improvement in the context of M&A/deals.
10. Strong quantitative,analyticaland written skills,with theability toleveragedataandanalytics togenerateinsights,informrecommendations andenable insight-based decisionmaking.Comfortable creating models and presentations in Excel, PowerPoint,PowerBI, Alteryx and similar tools andwritingreports.
11. Strongproblem-solvingcapability,with theability to breakdown complex,ambiguousissues,identifyroot causesand developclear,actionablesolutions.
12. Strongcommunicationand facilitation skills, with the ability to engage and communicate with senior business leaders.
13. A passion for business strategy and M&A integrations.
14. Ability or willingness todevelop skills in AI, digital and data-enabled approaches to integration and transformation.
