Lead the future of aviation operations in defence and engineering.
As a Site Operations Manager, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You’ll be at the heart of our aviation operations, leading a passionate multi-disciplined team and working closely with our local customer. This is a unique opportunity to shape the delivery of engineering, flying operations and support services that directly contribute to national defence and aerospace excellence.
The role is based onsite at RNAS Yeovilton, and the set working times are Monday to Friday, totalling 40 hours per week. Weekends may be required.
Responsibilities
* Leading and motivating a multi-skilled team to deliver high-quality aviation services
* Ensuring compliance with contractual, legislative and safety standards
* Collaborating with internal stakeholders and the customer to exceed expectations
* Driving continuous improvement and operational excellence
* Managing site operations including engineering, MT, SE and flying activities
Essential experience
* Strong understanding of customer-contract partnerships
* Proven managerial experience in civil or military aviation
* Practical and theoretical knowledge of aviation standards
* Experience within the defence industry
Qualifications
* Full UK Driving Licence
* Recognised Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) qualification
Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) security clearance for this role.
