With a strong pipeline of secured work, they operate across sectors including highways, drainage, earthworks, and structures for both public and private sector clients.The OpportunityWe are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Managing Quantity Surveyor to take ownership of the commercial function across multiple projects. This is a senior leadership role, ideal for someone looking to step into a strategic position with team management responsibility and long-term career progression.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the commercial management of multiple civil engineering schemesOversee cost control, forecasting, and financial reportingManage subcontractor procurement, accounts, and negotiationsReview and manage variations, valuations, and final accountsLead, mentor, and develop a team of Quantity Surveyors and AssistantsProvide commercial input into project planning and risk managementEnsure compliance with NEC contracts and company proceduresMaintain strong client and stakeholder relationshipsRequirementsProven experience as a Senior or Managing Quantity Surveyor within civil engineeringStrong working knowledge of NEC contractsExperience managing multiple projects and commercial teamsExcellent negotiation and communication skillsDegree qualified in Quantity Surveying or similar (or equivalent experience)Full UK driving licenceWhat's in it for You?Competitive salary up to £80,000 (DOE)Company car or car allowancePension and additional benefitsStrong pipeline of local projectsApply TodayIf youre a commercially driven professional looking for your next step in a MQS role, apply now with your CV.
