Job Title: Assistant Site Manager – Permanent Location: Warrington, UK Salary: £25,000 – £30,000 per annum (DOE) Start Date: Immediate / As soon as available About the Role: We are seeking a motivated Assistant Site Manager to join a growing construction team on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their career and gain hands-on experience in project delivery and site coordination. You will begin your journey by supporting the refurbishment of industrial units in Warrington — a 30-week programme involving both internal and external works. The ideal candidate will have a proactive attitude, good organisational skills, and the ability to work effectively under the guidance of the Site Manager and Project Team. My client look after Industrial and Commercial refurbishments and have developed long lasting relationships by producing high quality projects. Key Responsibilities: * Support the Site Manager in the day-to-day running of the site * Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site personnel * Maintain site safety, cleanliness, and organisation * Assist in managing material deliveries and ensuring efficient site logistics * Monitor quality of works and report any issues promptly * Help ensure compliance with health & safety regulations * Maintain daily site records and assist with progress reporting * Attend site meetings and support communication across the project team Requirements: * Some site-based construction experience preferred (e.g. work placement, trades background, or entry-level management) * A strong interest in developing a career in site management * Good communication and interpersonal skills * Willingness to learn and take instruction * CSCS Card (essential) * First Aid and SMSTS/SSSTS (desirable, but training can be provided if you don't have these) What's on offer: * Permanent position with opportunities for career progression * Competitive salary of £25,000 – £30,000 per annum depending on experience * Mentorship and support from experienced construction professionals * The chance to work on a well-structured, high-quality refurbishment project in Warrington
