So, what’s the job about?
This is an exciting new opportunity for a driven and energetic individual to join a well-established and friendly team at our Keele site. Using your administrative skills, you’ll become a key member within the Marley SHEQ team, supporting the business and working with all departments. You’ll achieve this by assisting weekly on the wages administration functions but your primary focus will be the SHEQ compliance for the site
Additional tasks may include:
1. Support site EHSQ Compliance working
2. To comply with company EHSQ policies and procedures.
3. Manage the equipment calibration for quality testing
4. Schedule H&S safety training and track completion rates on the various training platforms whilst maintaining and updating both the Qualsys and site training matrixes.
5. Assisting with the completion of New Starter Inductions and ensuring that Drug and Alcohol Testing is carried out.
6. Conduct emergency plan and H&S related checks such as fire extinguishers, fire alarm points, first aid kit check, defibrillator checks etc
7. Administrator for HAV monitoring equipment and FLT pre checks system
8. Review of the Management system procedures
9. Maintaining of the Allianz portal and closing out remedial actions for LEV’s and lifting equipment from the inspection reports
10. Uploading of Site Surveys/Servicing reports (emission testing, etc) to Qualsys
11. Completion of internal audits such as environmental performance audits and H&S tours
12. Tracking and management of waste documents
13. Assisting with product testing (where necessary) to ensure the products comply with EN1304

What skills are required?
Previous experience working within a similar function will put you in a strong position to be successful in this role. We use SAP as our main tool for handling and using data, any experience using this will be advantageous but don’t worry if not as training will also be given. You’ll need to be a confident communicator and love dealing with people at all levels and from all walks of life as you’ll be liaising with colleagues, management, and clients daily.
Below are some additional skills and experiences that will stand you in good stead.
14. Clay related qualification would be advantageous but not essential – Level 2 Clay Technology
15. SAP experience would be beneficial
16. EHSQ knowledge and awareness - IOSH Managing Safely, IEMA Foundation, Drug Tester Training would be advantageous but not essential
