About the Role
This is a customer-focused, sales-driven role where you will manage and grow a portfolio of trade accounts while identifying new opportunities for business growth. You will work closely with customers to understand their requirements, provide product advice and deliver tailored lighting solutions with the support of our technical and sales teams. The role combines account management, consultative sales and business development.
Responsibilities
* Manage and grow a portfolio of B2B trade and commercial accounts
* Build strong relationships with customers across multiple sectors
* Identify and develop new business opportunities through outreach, networking and events
* Manage the full sales cycle from enquiry through to close and aftersales support
* Prepare quotations, proposals and tailored lighting solutions
* Deliver product presentations and support customers with product education
* Negotiate with key stakeholders and decision-makers
* Work closely with internal sales support and technical teams
* Attend client meetings, exhibitions and industry events as required
Qualifications
Proven experience in B2B sales, account management or business development
Required Skills
* Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills
* Commercially minded and target-driven
* Able to manage accounts while developing new opportunities
* Self-motivated and organised
Preferred Skills
* Experience in lighting, electrical wholesale, AV or technical product sales
* Existing network of contacts within trade or commercial sectors
* Familiarity with lighting tools such as Relux or Dialux
Pay range and compensation package
£40,000–£45,000 basic + uncapped commission (OTE £80k)
