Practice Nurse / Registered General Nurse
We're looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Practice Nurse / Registered General Nurse to join our welcoming GP surgery team. In this role, you'll deliver high-quality patient care through chronic disease management, health screening, vaccinations, wound care, and health promotion. You'll work closely with our GPs and wider clinical team to support patients in achieving better health and well-being.

Main duties of the job
Chronic Disease Management: Monitor and support patients with conditions like diabetes, asthma, COPD, and cardiovascular disease.
Health Screening & Preventive Care: Conduct NHS health checks, cervical smears, blood pressure checks, and other screening programmes.
Immunisations & Vaccinations: Administer vaccines for adults, children, and seasonal flu clinics.
Wound Care & Minor Procedures: Dress wounds, remove sutures, and assist with minor clinical procedures.
Patient Education & Lifestyle Advice: Provide guidance on diet, smoking cessation, sexual health, and general wellbeing.
Clinical Administration & Record Keeping: Maintain accurate patient records, manage recall systems, and ensure compliance with practice protocols.
Collaboration: Work closely with GPs, healthcare assistants, and other team members to deliver coordinated patient care.

Job responsibilities
