Clinical Data Administrator
Permanent Contract 30-37 hours per week
We are a busy but friendly GP Practice with c 12,300 patients who is looking for motivated and detail-orientated Clinical Data Administrator to join our team.
The successful applicant will work as part of our Computer Department and Admin Team and will be responsible for maintaining and updating patient clinical records, ensuring data accuracy.
Flexibility to work shifts on a rotational basis between 8.00 am and 6.00 pm is essential.
Key areas of responsibility include coding diagnoses, investigations and procedures using the READ code dictionary, general data entry, results recording, running scheduled searches and processing incoming clinical correspondence. Adhoc cover for Switchboard and Reception is also required.
Excellent IT skills and attention to detail are essential. Previous experience of work in General Practice would be preferable but not essential, however experience of working in a similar role is essential.
