Hours of Work: Full Time (37.5 hours per week). Core hours are 09:00 until 17:30, Mon – Fri. 4 days on site, 1 remote.

Join Our Team as a Volunteer Development Administrator at Motorsport UK!
The Volunteer Development Administrator plays a key role in supporting the Volunteer Development Team’s mission to foster a culture of quality, continuous improvement, teamwork, and high performance among volunteer Marshals and Officials.
This position provides essential administrative support to ensure the effective delivery of volunteer training, grading processes, and general engagement. By managing queries, maintaining accurate records, and coordinating development activities, the role helps sustain and grow a dedicated community of over 10,000 volunteers who enable motorsport events across the UK.
Primary Objectives
The primary objectives associated with this role will be:
* General administrative support for the Volunteer Development Team including answering emails and telephone calls from Marshals and Officials and escalating to other members of the team as appropriate.
* To support the team with administrative duties relating to Marshal or Official applications, upgrades, assessments or general queries.
* To support the team in the administrative and logistical aspects of training events.
Additional Responsibilities
In addition to the primary objectives listed above, the Volunteer Development Administrator will be responsible for:
* Ensure administration of training events (internal or external) is completed in a timely manner including venue logistics, joining instructions, risk assessments, evaluations forms, post event statistics and expense claims and staff travel.
* Generate reports and collate data to enable the Volunteer Development Team to monitor projects, programmes and community demographics.
* Data input for all relevant spreadsheets that inform the Dashboards which are used for day-to-day monitoring and for reporting to The Board and other Committees.
* Calendar management – workshops, training events, webinars – identifying pinch points
* Logistics and administrative support in relation to our Recruitment, Recognition & Retention programmes.
* Providing administrative support services for relevant meetings, working/advisory groups and committees.
* Assist in the creation and distribution of bulletins/newsletters to our volunteer and competitor communities.
* Assist with the creation of Purchase Orders and update the transactions spreadsheet as needed.
* Assisting the team with the creation of training and resource materials, and programmes for our Staff, Trainers and Volunteer communities.
* Undertake the administration of the Qualsafe and 1st4 Sport Awards and any other centre administration that might be required.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a desire to provide great customer service.
* Ability to work with spreadsheets for the purpose of budget management and data analysis as well as the ability to create visual outputs for data clarity.
* An eye for detail to ensure high quality standards in all documents or materials produced.
* Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office packages including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
* Ability to maintain schedules, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines within a busy, continuously moving working environment.
* Experience in motor sport and/or experience working with volunteers is desirable.
