About Market Rocket
Market Rocket is a London-based Amazon growth agency representing 100+ globally recognised
brands and high-growth challengers. We partner with leadership teams to build Amazon as a
commercially accountable channel, integrating paid media with account management, SEO,
conversion-led content, and high-converting creative. Client relationships sit at the centre of how
we work.
The Role
We are hiring an Amazon Paid Media & Conversion Manager to lead paid media strategy,
execution, and conversion performance across key accounts. This is a senior, client-facing role
for someone who combines four strengths:
* The ability to build a paid media strategy aligned to commercial objectives and the brand’s stage of growth on Amazon.
* Strong in-platform capability across Sponsored Ads, DSP, and AMC, with the confidence to implement, test, and optimise at pace.
* Direct ownership of conversion performance. You will identify and act on PDP-level opportunities that impact CTR, CVR, and ad efficiency- including content changes, image testing, and competitor analysis.
* The ability to build and manage senior client relationships, translating performance into clear narratives and decisive recommendations.
This role is not focused on catalogue maintenance or routine Seller Central/Vendor Central
administration. You will partner with our account management and operations teams, but your
remit is paid media, conversion performance, and overall sales accountability.
Paid Media
* Own paid media strategy across key accounts, aligned to growth, efficiency, TACoS, market share, launch performance, and repeat purchase goals.
* Build and optimise campaigns across Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and Sponsored Display.
* Design and run DSP activity across prospecting, consideration, and retargeting, ensuring it complements Sponsored Ads and drives incremental growth.
* Use AMC to measure the true incremental impact of DSP and Sponsored Ads, build audiences, and translate insights into actionable client recommendations.
* Use software and tools for bid automation, budget pacing, and performance forecasting.
* Define the role of each lever within a full-funnel approach - what we prioritise, what we deprioritise, and how that changes over time.
* Build structured testing plans that drive continuous improvement and create scalable learnings.
* Comfortable using Amazon-native tools (Brand Analytics, Search Query Performance, Market Basket Analysis, etc.) and third-party platforms (Helium 10, Data Dive, etc.) for research and opportunity identification.
* Manage both small and significant budgets with disciplined pacing, allocation, and efficiency control.
Conversion & PDP Performance
* Edit titles, bullet points, and descriptions for SEO and conversion rates.
* Create and test main images and ad creative.
* Analyse competitors, category benchmarks, and search results to identify click-through and conversion opportunities.
* Diagnose CTR/CVR issues - whether traffic quality, content, imagery, pricing, reviews, or competitive positioning - and fix them.
* Run listing A/B tests (Manage Your Experiments) with proper testing frameworks and statistical significance before calling a winner.
* Use review mining to build benefit hierarchies, sharpen bullet framing, and identify objection-handling angles.
* Identify Rufus query gaps and update listing structure, Q&A, and backend fields to improve AI-generated answer accuracy.
* Build and manage a product’s keyword universe with continuous refinement through search term harvesting, negative management, and share of voice tracking.
* Understand the relationship between ad spend and organic rank; manage TACoS with visibility of how paid activity supports or cannibalises organic performance.
Client Relationship Ownership
* Lead senior client calls and own the commercial narrative, not just data.
* Produce reporting and forecasting that is decision-led and commercially meaningful.
* Build trusted relationships through consistency, clarity, and proactive stakeholder management.
Team Development
* Contribute to internal standards and best practices across QA, documentation, and tool adoption.
* Delegate repeatable or lower-complexity tasks to junior team members or tooling, retaining QA ownership.
Core Requirements
* UK-based, able to commute to our London office at least once per week.
* 3+ years’ hands-on Amazon advertising experience with clear evidence of personal implementation and optimisation in-platform.
* Strong capability across Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and Sponsored
* Display.
* Amazon DSP experience with proven ability to plan, activate, and optimise campaigns.
* AMC experience, including building audiences and applying insights to targeting, measurement, and strategy.
* Experience across Seller Central and/or Vendor Central, understanding how each model impacts media decisions.
* Demonstrable understanding of what drives conversion on Amazon - you can look at a listing and identify what’s working, what’s not, and what to change.
* Excellent communication, listening, and presenting skills, with a track record in client-facing roles.
* Strong analytical capability - able to diagnose performance drivers, prioritise actions, and execute decisively.
* Strong proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets (pivot tables, lookups, scenario modelling, clear, usable models).
