Senior Process Engineer

We’re seeking a Senior Process Engineer to join our clients dynamic Process Engineering team in Hertfordshire. In this critical role, you’ll drive innovation, enhance operations, and lead technical projects that make a real difference to the business and the patients they serve.
What You’ll Do:
* Lead cross-functional projects involving process improvement, technology transfer, and new product introductions.
* Design and scale up complex lab-scale processes into efficient, commercial-scale operations.
* Assess existing and new processes for quality, safety, compliance, and best practice.
* Develop and review engineering documentation including URSs, P&IDs, mass/heat balances, and validation protocols.
* Execute FATs, SATs, commissioning, and validation of new equipment and processes.
* Investigate and resolve complex process issues and provide sustainable solutions.
* Support site engineering standards and process safety systems (HAZOP, ATEX).
What You’ll Bring:
* A BEng or MEng in Chemical Engineering (Chartered status desirable).
* Strong understanding of cGMP, ICH Q8, FDA, and EU regulatory expectations.
* Proven experience in process design, validation, and commissioning in a highly regulated environment.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
