About the Role
Support students with a range of special educational needs (SEN), including autism, ADHD, and social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs.
Work closely with class teachers to adapt learning materials and provide tailored support.
Help to create an inclusive and positive learning environment where every student can achieve their potential.
Provide one-to-one and small-group interventions, supporting both academic progress and emotional well-being.
Assist with behaviour management, encouraging positive choices and building student confidence.Requirements
Previous experience working with SEN students in a UK secondary school setting (essential).
Strong understanding of strategies to support students with diverse needs.
Ability to build positive relationships with young people, staff, and families.
A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach.
An up-to-date DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).What the School Offers
