The Courtyard Surgery is a friendly family-focused rural GP practice on the edge of Salisbury Plain in Wiltshire with approximately 3,300 patients and growing. Based in the heart of a rural community, we pride ourselves on excellent access, continuity of care, and a personalised approach to patient service. We are seeking a salaried GP to join our team to deliver 4 to 6 sessions a week over 2 or 3 full days. We are particularly keen to talk to GPs who are looking for a long-term partnership opportunity. This is a salaried position with a long-term partnership opportunity.
Responsibilities
4-6 5-hour sessions spread over Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday including a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. Patients per clinic/session: 10-12 patients (8.30-11.30 and 14.30-17.30) per 5-hour session. Admin including referrals, documentation, and home visits. A reasonable workload and admin time rostered. Starting April 2026 onwards.
Practice context
List size 3,300 (weighted 4,500). The practice offers a supportive and well-established clinical and non-clinical team. You will join a tight-knit team of around 20, working closely with our GP partner, salaried GPs, nursing team, practice manager and patient liaison team members. This is a modern practice with a traditional patient-focused ethos in a rural community setting in Wiltshire.

Requirements
Qualifications: Essential – GMC GP Register.
UK Registration: Applicants must have current UK professional registration.
