Freight Forwarder (Road, Sea or Air) Salary: Up to £35,000 Location: Broughton Astley, Leicester Hours: Full time permanent position (37.5 hours per week Monday - Friday) Ourt client is currently looking for a Freight Forwarder (Road, Sea or Air) to join their team in Leicester. This role will include managing end-to-end freight forwarding operations across multiple transport modes, ensuring efficient and compliant movement of goods. Job Duties Receive and process customer bookings; provide quotations in line with customer requirements. Arrange transport services (road, air, sea, or courier) including scheduling collections and deliveries. Prepare all necessary shipping documentation. Complete and submit Customs Declarations as required. Track shipments and provide proactive updates to customers. Liaise daily with customers, carriers, and suppliers to ensure service excellence. Perform general administrative and accounting tasks relevant to the role. Support wider operational processes and contribute to continuous improvement. Identify, resolve, or escalate operational issues promptly. Maintain full compliance with industry regulations and internal procedures.
